Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 – Scope

All our sales are governed by these general terms and conditions of sale which prevail over any purchasing conditions, unless expressly stipulated otherwise.

Article 2 – Price, Payment and Penalties

Applicable prices are those listed on the tariff. They are "Ex-Cellar", transport costs being borne by the buyer. Payment is made in full upon ordering, to the order of: SCEA GRANGE DE L'ABBAYE.

In accordance with legal provisions, any payment made after the due date will result in late payment penalties. These penalties are payable without a reminder being necessary. Furthermore, all recovery costs will be charged to the buyer.

Article 3 – Transport (Important)

Our wines travel at the recipient's risk. The seller cannot be held responsible for damage, loss, theft, or defective packages.

Transport is insured. Consequently, customers are invited to check packages upon receipt and to notify any reservations to the carrier on the delivery slip on the day of receipt. Also send your claim by email: contact@champagne-charlesdegodet.com.

Article 4 – Retention of Title

The seller retains ownership of the sold wines until full payment of the price. However, upon delivery, risks of loss or deterioration are transferred to the buyer.

Article 5 – Disputes

Our sales are subject to French law. Jurisdiction is expressly attributed to the Tribunal de Grande Instance of the seller's domicile.

Article 6 – Claims

Any claim regarding supplied goods must reach us by email (contact@champagne-charlesdegodet.com) or registered letter within three days of receipt, referring to the invoice number and date, and stating the reasons for the request. After this period, claims will no longer be considered. No merchandise return will be accepted without our prior written agreement.

Article 7 - Online Sales

When ordering online, the customer chooses the delivery method and is solely responsible for this choice. Every order is verified. If it contains a pricing error or cannot be fulfilled, we will cancel the order. Orders are shipped upon receipt of payment.

Article 8 - Prices and Quotes

Prices and quotes may differ from those applied for direct sales at the property. Prices indicated on the online shop are reserved for the online shop.

Article 9 - Personal Data

Customer information is intended for SCEA GRANGE DE L'ABBAYE, which does not sell or rent email addresses and personal information. The customer has a right of access, rectification, and deletion of data concerning them.

Article 10 - Payment Default

In case of payment without funds, legal action will be taken according to current laws. If the champagne has been shipped, shipping and return costs will be borne by the customer.

Article 11 - Payments & Delivery

• By transfer or card: Upon receipt of payment, packages will be shipped.
