Our Vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne is a premium cuvée that wins through balance. It's a subtle alliance between the finesse of Chardonnay and the patina of oak. A unique signature among growers of the Ardre Valley, where Meunier traditionally dominates.
We vinify 30% of this cuvée in oak barrels. This bold choice brings that "beautiful breadth" which supports the natural freshness of the grape. The wood never masks the fruit: it enriches it with an additional dimension, both round and complex.

A Blanc de Blancs is a champagne made exclusively from white grapes, mainly Chardonnay. It's the opposite of Blanc de Noirs (black grapes only). Blanc de Blancs generally offers more finesse, minerality and freshness than classic blends.
The oak barrel passage (30% for our cuvée) brings breadth, aromatic complexity and subtly woody notes (vanilla, toasted brioche, dried fruits). It enriches Chardonnay without masking its natural freshness. It is a rare and demanding vinification.
A vintage champagne is made from grapes of a single year, unlike "non-vintage" cuvées that blend several years. Growers only produce a vintage in years deemed exceptional. It represents less than 10% of total Champagne production.
Our Vintage Blanc de Blancs can be kept for a few years in good conditions (cool cellar, lying flat, away from light). The structure brought by the oak barrel gives it excellent ageing potential, unlike a non-vintage Brut.
The ideal temperature is between 9 and 11°C (48-52°F), slightly higher than a classic Brut to let the Chardonnay's complexity and woody notes express themselves. A gradual cooling in the refrigerator (3-4 hours) is preferable to ice buckets.
